What It Really Means to Be In Your Prime at Any Age

When I say “I’m 69 and in my prime,” I am not saying life is perfect.
I am not saying my body has not changed.
I am not saying I have everything figured out.
I am not saying I wake up every day full of endless energy, flawless confidence, and zero questions about what comes next.
What I am saying is this:
I am still becoming.
I am still growing.
I am still learning how to love myself more deeply.
I am still choosing purpose, peace, wellness, joy, beauty, and courage.
And that, to me, is what being in your prime really means.
Your prime is not limited to one age, one decade, one body type, one season of success, or one version of yourself. Your prime can happen at 39, 49, 59, 69, 79, and beyond. It can happen after a loss. After a reinvention. After a health challenge. After burnout. After raising children. After a divorce. After retirement. After starting over. After finally realizing that you are allowed to put yourself first.
Being in your prime is not about trying to go backward.
It is about deciding that every age gives you another opportunity to become your best self.
Prime Is Not About Perfection
For so many women, especially women over 40, we were taught to believe that our “best years” were attached to youth. We were taught that aging meant fading, shrinking, slowing down, becoming invisible, or becoming less desirable, less powerful, and less relevant.
But I do not believe that.
I believe aging can be an awakening.
It can be a sacred invitation to ask deeper questions:
Who am I now?
What do I truly want?
What am I no longer willing to tolerate?
What does my body need from me in this season?
What dreams are still calling my name?
What version of myself am I ready to become?
Being in your prime does not mean everything is easy.
It means you are more awake.
More honest.
More intentional.
More connected to your body.
More protective of your peace.
More willing to live from purpose instead of pressure.
At Any Age, You Can Be In Your Prime
I chose the phrase “69 and In My Prime” because this birthday season feels like a declaration for me. It feels like my personal New Year. It feels like a moment to celebrate not just the years I have lived, but the woman I am becoming.
But this message is not just for women who are 69.
This message is for every woman who has ever wondered, “Is it too late for me?”
Too late to feel good again.Too late to love her body again.
Too late to dream again.
Too late to become visible again.
Too late to start over.Too late to feel beautiful.
Too late to live with passion, power, and purpose.
And my answer is this:
No, it is not too late.
You are not behind. Y
You are becoming.
Your prime is not a number. Your prime is a decision. It is a decision to stop treating your life as if the best parts are behind you. It is a decision to stop waiting for permission. It is a decision to honor the woman you have been while making room for the woman you are still becoming.
What PRIME Means to Me
For this season of my life, I have been thinking of PRIME as more than a word. I see it as a way of living.
To me, PRIME means:
Purposeful. Restored. Inspired. Magnetic. Empowered.
Purposeful
Being in your prime means living with intention.
Purpose does not always have to be loud or dramatic. Sometimes purpose is simply choosing to wake up and ask, “What matters most today?” Sometimes purpose is taking care of your body. Sometimes it is sharing your story. Sometimes it is saying no. Sometimes it is finally saying yes.
At this stage of life, purpose is less about proving and more about alignment.
It is less about chasing approval and more about honoring what your spirit knows is true.
Restored
Being in your prime means understanding that restoration is not optional.
Many women are not lazy. They are exhausted. They are emotionally overextended. They are hormonally shifting. They are carrying families, careers, caregiving, grief, expectations, and silent stress.
You cannot live in your prime while constantly living depleted.
Restoration is not weakness. Restoration is wisdom.
It means resting without guilt.
It means nourishing your body.
It means supporting your nervous system.I
It means creating boundaries.
It means letting peace become part of your wellness plan.
Inspired
Being in your prime means allowing yourself to be inspired again.
So many women spend years being responsible. Responsible for children. Responsible for parents. Responsible for partners. Responsible for work. Responsible for holding everyone and everything together.
But somewhere along the way, many women stop dreaming.
Being in your prime means asking yourself, “What still lights me up?”
It means making room for joy, creativity, curiosity, play, learning, beauty, movement, laughter, and new possibilities.
You still have time.
Magnetic
Being in your prime means becoming more aligned with who you really are.
Magnetism is not about trying to impress everyone. It is not about performing, proving, or chasing attention.
True magnetism comes from alignment.
It happens when your yes is honest.
Your no is clear.
Your energy is protected.
Your values are visible.
Your body feels safe with your choices.
Your spirit no longer has to negotiate with your fear.
At this stage, you do not have to be attractive to everyone. You are becoming aligned with what is assigned to you.
Empowered
Being in your prime means you stop waiting for perfect confidence before you move.
Empowerment does not mean you are never afraid. It means fear is no longer the leader of your life.
It means you can begin again.
You can change your mind.
You can take care of your health.
You can protect your peace.
You can build something new.
You can heal and still be powerful.
You can be soft and still be strong.
You can age and still be radiant.
You can be any age and still be becoming.
Being In Your Prime Means Continuing to V.I.B.E.
The heart of my work has always been rooted in the V.I.B.E. philosophy:
Vibrancy. Intuition. Beauty. Empowerment.
And being in your prime means continuing to V.I.B.E. in every season of life.
Vibrancy
Vibrancy is not about pretending to have endless energy. It is about choosing life-giving practices that help your body feel supported.
💖It is hydration.
💖It is movement.
💖It is nourishment.
💖It is rest.
💖It is breath.
💖It is sunlight.
💖It is laughter.
It is honoring your body instead of constantly fighting against it.
Your body may change, but that does not mean you give up on her. It means you learn how to support her differently.
Intuition
Intuition is learning to trust the wisdom within you.
💖It is listening when your body whispers before it has to scream.
💖It is noticing what drains you.
💖It is honoring what energizes you.
💖It is paying attention to your emotions, cravings, fatigue, stress, and inner knowing.
Your intuition is part of your wellness. It helps you make choices that are aligned with who you are now, not just who you used to be.
Beauty
Beauty in your prime is not about chasing youth.
💖It is about radiance. Presence. Confidence. Self-respect. Authenticity.
💖It is the glow that comes when you stop apologizing for taking up space.
💖It is the softness that comes when you stop criticizing your body.
💖It is the power that comes when you decide you are still worthy of care, attention, style, pleasure, and joy.
Beauty does not expire.
It evolves.
Empowerment
Empowerment is choosing to participate in your own life.
💖It is making decisions that support your mind, body, and spirit.
💖It is asking for help.
💖It is learning something new.
💖It is healing old patterns.
💖It is creating the self-care plan.
💖It is showing up for yourself even when it feels unfamiliar.
Empowerment is not about doing everything.
It is about choosing what matters and refusing to abandon yourself.
Your Prime Is a Becoming Season
One of the most powerful truths I have learned is this:
Becoming does not mean rejecting the woman you used to be.
It means honoring her.
💖Honor the woman who survived.
💖Honor the woman who carried responsibilities.
💖Honor the woman who prayed her way through.
💖Honor the woman who built, loved, lost, learned, cried, healed, started over, and kept going.
Then give yourself permission to become more.
💖More peaceful.
💖More purposeful.
💖More rested.More radiant.
💖More honest.More courageous.
💖More visible.
💖More aligned.
💖More you.
That is what being in your prime means.
It is not about age.
It is about awakening.
It is not about perfection.
It is about presence.
It is not about going back.
It is about rising forward.
A Prime Declaration
I am not past my prime.
I am stepping into it.
I am purposeful.

.I am magnetic.
I am empowered.
I honor the woman I have been.
I welcome the woman I am becoming.
I release the belief that my best years are behind me.

This is my becoming season.
This is my renewal season.
This is my prime.
And whether you are 39, 49, 59, 69, or beyond, I want you to remember this:
